I have photographed quite a few events for Co-op Funeralcare…I hear you say that must be a bit dour. NOT IN THE SLIGHTEST!!!!
It was a pleasure to photograph the rededication of their Barnsley premises.
The people are friendly, lovely, caring and…just amazing!!
I was given a tour of the building, what a wonderful place.
Local dignitaries attended including the Lady Mayoress of Barnsley, Cllr Pauline Markham and representatives from various religious denominations, each of whom gave a dedication to the building.
I was really moved to see members of the public that had attended and were moved to tears during the tour. It seemed apparent that they were still grieving and were looking to view the facilities in which their loved ones would be cared for.
It was a humbling experience and I have nothing but praise for the way that Co-op Funeralcare operate !
