Kirsty & Ryan are a lovely couple and it was an absolute joy to photograph them prior to their wedding.
I photographed Kirsty’s’ sisters wedding last year when she (Laura) married Alex, so I had an idea of what I would be facing.
I started by using a small studio set-up to photograph their rings, along with shoes, a bottle of Kirsty’s perfume and an invitation. This is a great time to chat to the couple, relax them and reassure them that they will have fun. They are always nervous, no matter what they tell you !!
We then moved on to The Monet Gardens at Roundhay Park followed by The Mansion nearby.
It is a location I have often used, it is beautiful and I can always find a private place to get the images that I want.
The columns at The Mansion are such a lovely warm colour that a poor image is hard to take.
A truly lovely shoot with truly lovely people !!
