Another pleasurable day and a delight to photograph Melanie & Ashley’s wedding !!!
A really busy time; firstly the bridal preparations and then on to see the Groom and ushers.
I do enjoy this time; apart from the pre-wedding shoot this is where I get to know the couple better. I also have time to reassure them, as they are inevitably nervous. It is also great fun for me !
The church was a stunning building at Rothwell. On this occasion the Vicar would not allow the use of flash at all. I normally use flash for a few shots only, the exchange of rings and first kiss when the vows have been said. Oh well……you have to play with the hand you have been dealt.
There was a little bit of panic when the rings went missing after the arrival of the Groom, at church. Fortunately, they turned up in the wedding car so despite a frantic wait for the Bride, all things went well.
It was a lovely ceremony and all present were in top form.
Afterwards the group shots outside followed by a few pics of the happy couple and then on to The Crowne Plaza in town for the wedding breakfast.
I have to say Arron Smith, The Magician at the wedding breakfast was absolutely incredible !!!!!
