Brittain’s Sweets on Yeadon High Street is under new management !!!
Tom Elgie wanted some shots of the inside of the premises, some exterior shots and a 360 view doing. It would have been rude not to !!
I have to say it is a wonderful place, Bonbons, Pear Drops, Cough Candy, Sherbet Lemons, and Kola Cubes to name but a few sweets familiar to some of us ‘of a certain age’.
Tom really made me feel at home, he has a great sense of humour and a personality that is very endearing.
Make a date in your diary for a visit; take some money and plenty of carrier bags….you will not be disappointed.
It was too short a visit……..looking on the bright side I did leave with a bag full of liquorice torpedoes !!!
