I was lucky enough to photograph the Leeds Architects Awards ceremony at Leeds Town Hall. A wonderful location and an even more wonderful night !
The introduction was by Andrew Edwards (Radio Leeds), followed by a number of presentations for each category by Kit Martin CBE, a guest assessor.
My eyes were opened concerning what is going on in the city and how Leeds City Council are involved in the successful development and regeneration of Leeds.
It is not very often you get the opportunity to photograph an event that is both interesting and educational……….Well done to all involved!!!!
I would also like to thank LCC, in particular, Jenny Fisher (Principal Urban Designer), for my very warm welcome.
It was a very open brief; photograph the guests and the presentation of the awards during the ceremony, otherwise, up to me…..Crack on !
