How could I resist photographing Arthur, a newborn baby and his brother !!
I visited their home address and set up my studio equipment, I usually manage this in about 30-40 minutes. I have to say it is hard work but well worth the effort.
I was forewarned that little Arthur would probably be quiet but Henry may not want to interact, he may be hard work.
Mum & dad were right about Arthur but little Henry was the complete antithesis of his parents’ description. He was fantastic, after a bit of a warm up with laughs and messing about, Henry couldn’t get enough of the camera……..a right little poser.
Mum & dad weren’t too keen on being in front of the camera, grandparents even less so !
You never can give a perfect prediction of the direction a shoot will take. I really do believe that a major part of being a photographer is communication….if you cant get on with your clients they will not perform for you and you will not get the results you want.
In short, this shoot was a great success. Children photographed, parents photographed and grandparents photographed.
A really fun day for all !
