I was really looking forward to Jenni & Simon’s wedding. It was at a Castle Grove, a local Masonic Hall……a stunning building !!
I met with Jenni first for the bridal preparations. She wasn’t keen on the preparation shots….I tend to look far in advance of the day and think about the future, it is a wonderful way of preserving the day for future generations. Take the shots but only use the ones you want to.
I have to say Jenni is lovely and a delight to photograph; I just enjoyed it so much!
I moved on to Simon and his Best Man and again, they made my job so easy, I love days like this!
And so…on to the venue. I had done a recce but couldn’t get to see inside, a little frustrating but such a wonderful surprise !
The ceremony was a simple and an incredibly intimate affair, I felt privileged to be part of their day. It is quite a humbling experience.
All that is left is the group shots, the cake cutting and the couple shots. We explored the building together and found a wonderful oak panel in one of the upstairs rooms lit by a glorious light from an adjacent window….A gift for any photographer.
Well…job done; pleasantly tired, now just to work on the images and sort the album.
Just love it !!!
