Colour, fun and fantastic subject matter…..an absolute joy !!!!!!!
I have been working on a long term assignment with Leeds Older People’s Forum for a couple of months, this includes ‘Time To Shine’ an organization established to help third-sector groups develop ways of reducing loneliness and isolation and strengthen communities benefiting older people defined as over 50 years of age.
What could I say when they asked me to photograph Leeds Pride………er….let me think about it……..YES !!!!!!!!!!
To my shame I have never attended Leeds Pride but I have wanted to photograph it for as long as I can remember, I just never got round to it. I always imagined, lots of colour, friendly faces, an abundance of culture and great images.
How do you choose your best images from so many….difficult !!
What struck me was that it was a truly family occasion, young and old alike, all with smiling faces and many with painted ones !! If you haven’t yet been………GO!!!!!!!!!!!
I was not disappointed !!
I just cannot believe I am getting paid for this !!
