Family portraits are never a chore for me; I just love the interaction.
John and Hazel’s family soon relaxed and enjoyed the day as much as I did.
The shoot went exactly to plan, there were laughs aplenty, no accidents and some lovely images to boot. What more could I ask for.
I am always a tad wary when I am asked to photograph animals in their owners family group. This stems back to a family portrait shoot I did with the family’s Alsatian dog, incidentally the largest I have ever seen !
The parcel it left in the room was a singular distraction for the whole shoot !!!!
Barney; John & Hazel’s Border Collie, couldn’t have been more different. He was an absolute star and performed for the camera with some wonderful expressions.
The way he looked at John was just lovely !!
May be I am just getting soft…….. !
