Another pre-wedding shoot, this time in Cawood, North Yorkshire; a really lovely part of the world.
Danielle & Craig asked that the shoot be done on location as it was special place to them.
I again started with the still life in their house; the rings, shoes and perfume. Although they wanted the disc only package, these images would help to give the full story of their wedding if they wanted to design their own album later.
I normally use a white background sheet in a small studio setting when I do the still life shots at my home, however, to save time, I used a large fold up reflector. I simply placed the items on the reflector and used my trusty 600 RT flash…… Simples!!!
Once I had the still life shots we went outside for a walk around Cawood Castle. I was concerned the weather was a little too bright; this can cause rather contrasty images, that said I was able to take advantage of the various shady areas under the many trees.
We had a great time, I achieved the results I was after and they have now picked an image for their signature board.
I am now looking forward to their wedding in Sherburn in a couple of weeks.
Fantastic !!!!!
