I was really excited about photographing Tom & Reena’s wedding. It was a really crammed day starting with Reena’s hair at West Park and then back to the house for images of the dress. I then went to The Metropole Hotel to see Tom and the groomsmen.
The civil ceremony was later at Leeds Town Hall Register Office and then back to The Metropole Hotel.
Leeds Town Hall is a gorgeous building with so much character. It was important that I used the building to enhance the photographs.
The wedding was a mixed English/Indian wedding. Although the Indian celebrations were planned for the day after, as you can see from the below images, I did manage to find a part of the Town Hall that gave a slightly Indian flavour.
Check out Tom’s socks !! They are slightly eccentric to say the least but don’t they just make the picture !
I had a wonderful day; both families were just so friendly and accommodating, it made my job so easy.
The day went smoothly, I got some fantastic images and couldn’t wait for the Indian celebrations the next day.
