I was really looking forward to Lisa & Robs wedding at Holdsworth House in Halifax. There was a chance of snow and it was going to be cold.
My philosophy is why worry about something that you can’t change. Let it snow !!
I started the day at Lisa & Robs house where I recorded the bridal preparations. Lisa was on great form as were the bridesmaids, I had a great time. I couldn’t resist using a black and white picture on the wall as a background for some of the shots. The picture had a yellow taxi on it, which gave a really modern feel.
I said my goodbyes and left for Holdsworth House, an absolutely gorgeous venue where I was greeted by their staff. Nothing was too much trouble for them; I was impressed.
Next task was to photograph the groom and best men. This was one of those weddings that was just a joy to photograph. It was good humoured and jokes aplenty!
Lisa looked truly stunning.
As soon as the ceremony finished; you guessed it, it stared to snow. I remained indoors initially in the hope that the snow which had just started would fizzle out. No such look !
Not to worry, we went outside for the group shots followed by shots of the bride & groom.
The day was finished off by hilarious speeches………..A great day.
I still cant believe I get paid for this.
Lisa, Rob I wish you all the best for the future !!
