Martin and Kirstie are a truly lovely couple and were a joy to photograph.
The location was The Crowne Plaza Hotel in Leeds City Centre, a civil ceremony followed by the wedding breakfast.
The staff at the hotel were brilliant, nothing too much trouble. It was really nice to find they all had a great sense of humour !!
I had hoped for an overcast day for some nice light. Unfortunately for me (fortunately for the wedding party and guests), the sun was cracking the pavements !!! The day was absolutely gorgeous.
There is an old Railway building close by which proved to be the only really suitable backdrop, it gave an opportunity to photograph the group out of the direct harsh sunlight.
It proved to be a very challenging but incredibly enjoyable day.
