I thought I knew what to expect. I had been told that Meat Loaf was fantastic, so I was prepared for a great night (it usually is at The Tower House); I just thought it would be great (loud!) music with good lighting and a bit of crowd participation.
Meat Loaf had a great voice; the audience challenged him to sing in the style of Bon Jovi and a couple of other top names. He was just as good at those as he was at Meat Loaf.
What I didn’t expect was more than music. Woe betides any one that left the gig to go to the toilet!! The gig stopped, they were fair game! He wasn’t crude, just…….incredibly funny!
It turned a night of just music and song into a full night of entertainment….fantastic!!
I am also fair game, a photographer standing in front of Meat Loaf and a target. Makes life more interesting!!
I wanted candids, until he posed to show his athletic physique. I had to oblige and rattled a couple of pictures off. Unexpected but it was expected that I oblige and…….. what a physique!!!!!!
I never tire of gigs at The Tower House Hotel, the welcome is second to none, Rob & Nik put their life and sole into the hotel, they compliment this with incredible food and fantastic service.
Looking forward to Freddie Mercury on New Year’s Eve.
