The Cardinal Heenan Catholic High School (Year 11) presentation evening was a little quieter than previous years. I still had a great time and met some lovely people.
It takes me some time to set up my kit, studio lights, background and displays. The displays in particular, attracted quite a lot of interest. I had a number of large images from the Prom printed up for the students and families to have a look at.
I have to say the change in some of the students in a couple of months was incredible, there were a few that I just would not have recognised.
For me it is not just about the photography, it’s about the people, I just love meeting people.
The evening went very well and just to keep me on my toes, the lights went out at 9.30pm without warning !!
Have you tried packing up a full studio kit in the dark. Interesting !!
To be honest, it added to the experience, I had a great time and will be back for the Prom next year and the presentation evening……if I am invited.
