What a fantastic day; Kirkstall Abbey and an anniversary shoot for Alex & Karl.
It was 20 years since they met and they both wanted to celebrate with an outdoor shoot. Alex suggested Kirkstall Abbey, a location that I have not used to date but a location I will be using in future. It is stunning.
The lighting was a little difficult, it was a gorgeously warm day but very bright creating harsh shadows.
I decided to try and stick to the shadows and added a bit of impact with flash. This gave an almost Gothic style to the pictures with the Abbey in the background.
I had a great day, we had plenty of laughs as you can see by the pics. I seem to have a knack of surrounding myself with great company. Life’s good !!!
